Monomoy Yacht Club Facilities
MOORINGS
The Club maintains two (2) moorings in Stage Harbor for Club
members and visiting guests. Each is attached to a 4000 pound block.
All requests must be made in advance to a member of the Dock and Mooring Committee for a specific period not to exceed fourteen (14)
days. For information regarding availability, fees, and regulations,
or to download a dinghy dock application, see the Regulations, or contact the Dock & Mooring Committee.
RECIPROCITY
Monomoy Yacht Club is a member of the Yachting Club of America
and is listed in the Register of American Yacht Clubs Reciprocity Guide
that is published by YCA. A copy of the updated annual Guide is kept
in the club house for reference by MYC members.
The Guide contains the names and addresses of over 650 member Yacht Clubs, and provides information for each regarding reciprocity, dockage, facilities and duration of season. Your MYC membership card will often be sufficient to provide access to the listed Yacht Clubs if you wish to visit any of them during your travels. In some instances, however, the Yacht Clubs you intend to visit will require a letter from the MYC Commodore. Check with the intended Yacht Club in advance to find out what is required, and then request a letter from the MYC Commodore by using the e-mail address listed on this website. In order to prepare the letter, the name and address of the Yacht Club will be needed, along with the name of the managing director or other appropriate contact. Please specify if a fax or e-mail is required instead of a mailed letter.
Use of Club House
The club house is available to members for private parties of not more than fifty people. Reservations and arrangements must be made in advance with the House Committee.
