FROM THE FLAG
As we are flying home from Croatia from our MYC Sailing Trip, I must report that 24 of" us experienced marvelous sailing and adventures in quaint small villages as well as tours of Split and Dubrovnik. Our hotels in Trogir and Dubrovnik were first rate with many thanks due Sidney for arranging the details which went off without a hitch. Our Croatian Captains were extreme!}' well qualified and we ended with new sailing skills learning their method of Med Style approach to bulk heads. Our four boats all experienced great comradeship and enjoyed dinners ashore with i:our own" boats and also mingling with the other boat crews at times. The people we met from Croatia and other nations were very friendly and delightful to meet.
We look forward to plans for another overseas sailing adventure in the future. If you missed this one, get information and consider joining us in them. Some are interested in sailing this coast again going to different islands since we only visited six out of three hundred!
Thanks to Len too for his help in organizing this trip with Sidney.
We look forward to the boating season hoping for better weather than last year. Participate in the rendezvous if you are a boat owner. Call the Captains, Dennis and Harry and call them also if you would like to participate, but are not a boat owner. The Cruise Schedule will be put together in June, July and August by the skippers who want to participate. Call Len at 508-945-1106; he will set a meeting date for skippers to plan each month.
Let's make this years' participation the best yet!!
