Monomoy Yacht Club sponsors a variety of informational activities intended to promote safe boating through skills and awareness of the local conditions.

•  The Club presents a popular series of free informal Training Seminars, workshops, and lectures for MYC members. Some workshops are held on the water or on the beach, and may involve optional boating sessions.
• The Club sponsors an annual Harbor Update which is open to the public, with speakers including the harbormaster and Coast Guard personnel.
